every ending is a new beginning
closing up for a new cycle of endlessness
hi friends,
before the year ends, i want to give thanks to you for sticking around and being part of this community. this year i was lucky to get to know some of you through our online gatherings, and i am really excited for the new year that is to come. i intend to keep opening up the space of our online community and create global connections with all you.
at this time of the year, it can be helpful to look back and take some time to reflect. here are some questions for you to inspire introspection, to help you wrap the year up, conscious of where you come from, where you stand at and where you want to go now:
what are you grateful for?
what are leaving behind?
what are you taking with you in the next year?
what have you learned during the past thirteen moons?
what things have touched your heart? what things have brought tears of pain or tears of joy to your eyes?
to fixate things, you can write these things down, as a way for example to commit to certain things or bring them to a close. to get creative and visualise more, you can make a drawing out of your reflections or create a collage. i don’t like resolutions and i don’t wish for this to become a suggestion to make them – new years resolution often create a sense of pressure and having to “achieve something”. i think we are exactly where we are meant to be.
these questions are meant for you to recognise what good things you have experienced these year, be conscious of what you were able to let go and what things you’ve learned. also, i like to remind myself of what was important for me during the year to know where my values stand.
these questions are shared in a end-of year substack article where have shared a bit more about my year, in case you want to know what i would answer.
i wish you a peaceful and joyful year transition. if these days stroke difficult strings for you, please take care and know that you are not alone. i’m here if you want to have a chat or start a therapy process.
in love and faith
